A Summer Wedding at Vermont’s Riverside Farm

Polly and Jan were married on a gorgeous blue-sky day in the Green Mountains of Vermont. They welcomed friends and family from around the globe to this stunning corner of New England for a three-day celebration perfectly planned by Sarah True and the True Event team.

Riverside Farm was a glorious backdrop for their intimate barn wedding ceremony, a candlelit dinner in the red barn and casual fun the rest of the weekend.

Polly and her sisters got ready in the Riverside Suite, while Jan and his gentlemen dressed in the beautifully rustic Groom’s Cabin. Polly’s Carolina Herrera gown was simply stunning, along with her heirloom veil and headpiece. Her elegant look was a perfect match for her dashing groom in his formal attire.

Polly’s sisters were her gorgeous attendants, and carried orchids.

The barn wedding ceremony was lit by candlelight, and was a glorious reflection of their backgrounds and them as a couple.

Florals by Hana Floral Design of Mystic, CT. Hana Floral traveled with a team to create the floral decor for this three-day affair.

With a tongue-in-cheek nod to the “Twilight” books and vampire culture, the red barn was illuminated with dozens of long, white tapers in silver candelabra.

Cocktails were held on the terrace outside the brown barn, where guests were treated to a view of the sun setting behind the mountains, and delicious fare by Cloud Nine Catering.
