Embarrassing Halloween Photos

Okay, so look at it this way–now that you’ve looked at the 47 million OTHER Halloween photos on the web from family and friends, you now have some free time to view these. Which, of course, is why I waited.

I don’t know which is more embarrassing—the complete lack of creativity in my children’s zip-and-go costumes, or my own attire. I was totally last minute Alaskan Sarah, inspired by my sister who A) has a flute and B) wears Sarah-ish glasses on a regular basis and C) makes a much better Sarah Palin than I do.

I will spare you the winking photos. I look like I got a sharp stick in the eye.

Not my regular hair-do for those who don’t know me. Mine is usually a little more bouffant. Oh and that’s a hockey stick I’m holding.

Henry has perfected the art of the cheesy smile. I hope he doesn’t pass it on to his chum who still has a lovely natural smile.

Yummy pumpkin baby.

This Raggedy Ann scared the gills off of Henry, since he didn’t recognize his lovely pal underneath.

They do look like they are up to something, don’t they?

World’s loveliest cow. Her sister was world’s loveliest chicken.

Happy Halloween, a week later!

As always, these pictures are beautiful.

I saw a few Sarah P’s (also a lot of Michael Phelps) but none with a hockey stick. Brilliant!

They are all precious. I love Henry’s cheesy smile – Austin just started doing that too (although I have to admit to trying harder now to take pictures when he doesn’t notice me so I can get more natural expressions). Will’s shark costume is great. And the eyes on that pumpkin baby and the little cow! Wow! Great shots – and beautiful kiddos.

I just figured out that Henry is Nemo. Go you for the fish costumes!

Oh my gosh, Anna! It goes without saying that all the kiddos are adorable, but you as Palin totally rocks! Love it!

My costume was Palin-inspired – I was Caribou Barbie.

I love your flag scarf. And the hockey stick.

Gosh, can’t believe you guys didn’t figure it out–B was a fisheries policy wonk, of course! 🙂 Or “a dad at a Halloween event.”

Maybe I can get him to be Todd Palin next year.

They look adorable even in the zip up costumes! You look adorable too. My husband refuses dressing up every year, boring.

I LOVE the smile on Henry’s face in the second picture!

And your costume totally rocked. Your kids are going to look back on these photos one day and think either a)our mom is the coolest ever, or b)our mom is such a dork. (I’m pretty sure it’s gonna be “a” 🙂 )
