February 2013: Ten on Ten (Blizzard Edition)

This month’s ten on ten is miraculously brought to you by the return of the Internet, despite acres of snow and 38% of my town still without power. Blizzard Charlotte and her friend Nemo (or whatever this mess was called) came a knocking and delivered what appears to be about 21″ of snow to our fair shores. In a place that can go a winter without snow, and certainly a winter without boots.

It’s one for the record books, as the Facebook weathermen keep telling us, and I think we’ll remember it for a long, long time.  I took a few liberties with the “ten on ten” concept–I tracked the blizzard for it’s length over two days, and took a few more than ten, forgive me!

And finally, this month I’m linking to Kansas City child photographer Nicki Griffith, who is enjoying cute children, 60 degree weather and not a flake of snow. Go say hello!

Love that blue blue sky and the crisp white snow! (And not just because I wasn’t shoveling any snow….). Beautiful as always, Anna.
