Somehow, I thought I would have one before him

iohone.jpg

Henry is a chatter. You would think both his parents are brokers (NOT) the way he naturally picks up any phone-shaped object, slaps it to his ear and shouts, like he’s at the bottom of a well, “Hellllllloooooooo!”

He walks around talking animatedly, rapid-fire, on his toy phone, pausing only long enough to switch ears, pace in the other direction and take a SELL order.

Now there will be no living with him: our friend Steven has introduced him to the iPhone.

So while Will wants a bulldozer for his next “birfday,” I’m pretty sure Henry will be only be satisfied with his own amazing touch-screen device.

2.0, of course.

Hysterical!!!!! It’ll be fun to say “I know him when…” when his sticker trading company goes public at age 7.

That is funny! My little guy always puts everything up to his ear like a phone too. It is cute.

πŸ™‚ My nephew, Evan, was chatting in his Elmo cell phone at about 6months… No on could understand except Elmo, but nevertheless… Maybe they can share an iPhone.

I’m drooling over that phone right now…see you HAVE to have one now, imagine all the times you can pull it out of your bag and entertain the boys – think of it as an investment in your sanity at the post office, the grocery store, the DMV, the…..

My husband has one too. I get his when the new internet system gets into the new iphone thingy…. But isn’t it so weird how easily the kids adapt to flipping through pictures on the iPhone?

I was the same way as a kid. I hauled my little blue plastic phone with me everywhere, conducting extensive one-sided conversations. Tragically that was before the iPhone’s time.

That’s hilarious! Claire does the same thing! In fact, one of her uncles gave her his deactivated (and no batteries) “old skool” cell phone (it doesn’t even pretend to be an iPhone), and she loves it.

One of my friends let Claire play with her Crackberry, against my warnings. Claire accidentally called three of her friends. I’m tellin’ ya, the girl knows her way around those phones!

I hope you find a nice, reasonable calling plan for Henry’s iPhone. πŸ˜‰

Meredith was using a SPOON as a phone yesterday — someday they will be that small! πŸ™‚

The funniest thing is the gestures she makes when she is “on the phone”. Trying SO hard to be a grown up!

Seriously kids, conference calls aren’t that much fun!

  14. JenBun on March 19, 2008 at 1:06 pm

    That’s HILARIOUS!!!

Good luck, Henry! If you convince your parents to buy you one, give me a call… I can think of some things I want for MY “birfday”! πŸ˜€
