Milestone Moments, Part 2

Here’s a milestone for you:

Two-year-old boy runs into a HEDGE of poison ivy and highly-allergic mother has to hoist him out of the plant material. He’s practically got it made into a laurel wreath around his head by the time I extricate him, and we still SOMEHOW MANAGED TO AVOID IT. Except for the little bits on my legs.

Another milestone for you:

Henry looking so grownup I can’t take it. I let him jump off the chair after this little session just to remind me that he is really just two.

Sort of holding the sign that says two. Sort of.

Who stole my two-year-old baby?ย  What is he looking so smug about? And where can I get highlights like that?

Salivating over the gummy bear standing on my camera. Not really the kind of eye contact I was hoping for.

The last thing that gummy bear ever saw…

You are too funny! So you tried the gummy thing, huh?? It had a short, sweet life, didn’t it? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Super cute shots – you did well!

I’m highly allergic as well…I may have just let him get out of there on his own. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Hopefully he does get anything from it. It really sucks. Lordy does it suck!

    sweet henry..I still see the baby…thank goodness…photo #1

Have Henry repeat this lesson… “Leaves of three, Let them be!!!!!” and if that fails, stock up on some tecnu wash or zanafel, and you may just stand a chance against ivy.

Another cute little man. You do make good looking babies. Yes, he is still a baby. Mine is closer to 3 than 2, and she’s still a baby. His gimme-that-gummy faces are a riot.

You make gorgeous little boys! I love the promise of a gummy bear! I love the traces of baby, even though he is clearly itching to leave it behind. *sigh* They all do…
