Weddings: The Creative Process

Looks divine, doesn’t it? You just want to drink it in, making it the appropriate signature drink for the loveliest of events. (It’s the “Style Me Pretty”)

It’s as good as it looks, just like everything else at the most delicious bridal event I attended last week at Saltwater Farm Vineyard, organized by True & Wesson, and featuring Abby Larson of Style Me Pretty.

Sarah True of True & Wesson, Abby Larson of Style Me Pretty, Yumiko Fletcher of Hana Floral Design and Lucinda Wesson of True & Wesson

The fabulous ladies of True & Wesson, Sarah True and Lucinda Wesson, invited me to photograph their fantastic bridal showcase, Weddings: The Creative Process, and let me just show you what I saw there.

Abby Larson, editor and founder of Style Me Pretty, talked about finding inspiration all around you.

Gorgeous bridal model Ruth, stunning in fashions from The White Dress By the Shore and Two Birds bridesmaid dresses.

This amazing wrap dress comes in so many luscious colors.

Flowers, flowers, flowers by Hana Floral Design. And yes, those are kumquats in the pink arrangement, adding a citrus smell. Mmm. You actually need to see this pink one bigger, I just love it.

Lovely ladies made even lovelier with the help of Jennie Fresa. I now know the secret to natural-looking false eyelashes and am hopelessly addicted to Jennie’s Sugar Scrub lip balm—watch for her line of products later this year.

Can you believe I waited this long to get to the food? Delicious dishes by Gourmet Galley, and OF COURSE there were cupcakes. These were (yum) by Sugarbelle.

And beautiful albums, by two photographers whose work I especially admire:

Erica of Adeline and Grace Photography (album on left) and Maggie of Maggie Conley Photography (album on right).

And what bridal event would be a bridal event without some sparkle?

Finally, the whole team of vendors (many that I didn’t get to mention here) that worked together on this dreamy event. Lucky brides!

Thanks, Sarah and Lucinda, you sure know how to throw a great party!

Annabelle… I think this is your new nickname from me instead of Naner Bug, because you deserve to be called something far more elegant. Your photos are heaven. I want that drink, with that cupcake, wearing that ring!

    😉
