Elections bring out the best in people

I just want to know…

…how Katie Couric maintained her poise during these last few days of interviews while Sarah Palin flapped about job creation and her personal opinion on invading Pakistan.

…Why Sarah Palin didn’t name one magazine or newspaper when asked what she has read to form her world view?

…if those conservative commentators calling for Sarah Palin to step down are serious? Or are they just lowering the bar for tomorrow night’s debate?

…if there could be ANY TRUTH to the persistent rumor that Joe Biden will step aside after the debate, allowing Obama to nominate Hillary or Kansas governor Kathleen Sebelius as his running mate? Or is this as likely as him selecting Jed Bartlet as his running mate?

…if anyone else is addicted to Election 2008 on Twitter like me. Like yesterday, when one of the most common phrases found under election postings was OH DEAR GOD.

I have a solution for all of this:

With elections like this, who needs HBO? Seriously, all we can do is keep faith in what ever we believe, talk to others about what policies are important to us (universal health care!) and remember the names of a few decent periodicals in case we are asked on national TV.

this whole election seems like a big show, like sara said, “who needs HBO?” It seems whomever is the best performer will win…I am ready for this to wrap up already!!

folks – i really am concerned about what will happen if McCain is incapacitated and Sara’s gotta take over.

There’s some rumblings down here in the DC area that Sara’s got herself a deal with playboy in place to pose for them if she doesnt get the nod in the election with McCain.

I believe her favorite tv shows are:

    Knight Rider – the original
Dukes of Hazard – the original
    BJ and The Bear

    🙂

I saw a tshirt today that read:
    Smokers and Strippers for Pallin

if you have a free minute, you must view the SNL mock interview with Katie Couric and also mock appearance with Hilary. So funny.

This whole thing is crazy. Because, honest to god, I look at Barack and all I can think of is — what am I not seeing? Why am I having such a hard time with this guy? Ugh.
